In our present day, dating is a very common social activity in which people of both sexes and different age groups get involved. Generally, people start dating when they are studying in high schools. But, high school students are not mature. So, they would require some guidance to enable them to be successful in dating. The following tips are being given to them which will ultimately help them develop fruitful relationship throughout their life also.

To set up a relationship, you must have something to show so that you appear attractive to people of the opposite sex. If you have no confidence, no hobby or no distinct personality, nobody will come forward to set up a date with you. If you are interested in sports, you may join school sports team. If you are good at music, you may join the school band. It is always important you participate in some activity. It allows you to meet number of persons.

For a good student, it will be difficult to set relationship with a back bencher. Generally, it would be easier for one to relate with a person who is mentally and socially is at your level. Otherwise, the relationship will not be comfortable for both the persons.

You should avoid people who are known to be not of a good character. If you have a relationship with such a person with awful reputation, it may not be possible for you to persuade the other person to change his/her character for the better. This will ultimately create difficulty for you in the future.

The relationship developed between two of you should not have any adverse effect on your school grades or your reputation in the school. Otherwise, you will lose respect both of your friends and your school teachers.

You are not yet become adults. So, you should always keep parents informed about your relationship. Whatever steps you take for developing this relation should have the permission of your parents.

While you are developing such a relationship, you should not be ignoring your other friends. In case, any problem develops in your relationship, it is your friends who may help you to overcome such a problem.

To develop a good relationship, both of you should be communicating with each other to avoid developing in any misunderstanding. Otherwise, it may lead ultimately to the breakup of the relation. This advice is true not only for the purpose of dating but for developing any kind of relationship between two persons.
