Also, for the first date, it is not advisable to become very adventurous with the activity you talk up or food you it which may create physical problem for you later.

On a date, some unforeseen things may happen. You may spill wine on your new white dress, your car has a flat tire etc. Try to take them in your stride and do not be unnecessarily tense about it.

Please remember that men may not like a woman who is very fastidious with her food or haggles too much for a bargain.

You should also remember that you should pour out all your personal problems before him. He will not be interested with your problems in your family or at your work place.
